Award winning TAN LINES is our first feature film, written, directed and produced by Johnny Williams. Set in France, on the surface this is a gentle, humorous film, but under the facade a tangled web, charged with emotional tension ensues. In their break from ordinary life, whilst on holiday, three sisters are forced to deal with their fractured family past.
HUNTERFILMS
Hunterfilms is a small, innovative production company, dedicated to making films. We use the exciting technologies currently openly available to produce our projects.
We have made two short films and one feature. We are currently working on a science fiction, feature.
Tan Lines our first feature, was shot in France for such a minimal budgetit could really be called a no budget movie. Tan Lines however looks and feels like a much bigger movie.
Our two short films The Last Weekend and Bacon and Eggs, are two very different productions. The Last Weekend our first short film, a science fiction, used video game sets as back drops for the story giving the perfect feel for the claustrophobic nature of the story.
Bacon and Eggs is a character led drama. Filmed at the kitchen sink of a young wife, it focuses on the acting of the central character.
Rubicon is our latest project. Set in a near dysfunctional future, it follows our anti - hero Hunter, trying to find his way in this crazy new world. The script has been written and is also being turned into a graphic novel. The graphic novel is an end in itself but it also acts as a story board for the film and is the basis for a beautiful manga style version.
